About

A bit about me :

I have been providing a massage therapy service since 2018, having worked for 15 years in Social Housing and then retraining due to wanting a change of career.

I have always had an interest in health and fitness and whilst I’m not always consistent with my own fitness(!), I have personally used massage for a long time, to deal with injury and various niggles, finding it to be a huge benefit in reducing or preventing pain and injury.

I love being able to help people manage and reduce their pain, increase their mobility and performance and improve their wellbeing.

I am mainly mobile, allowing me to provide treatment in the comfort of your own home or workplace, but also have a treatment room in Nevill Street, Abergavenny.

I cover an area up to approximately 25 miles outside of Abergavenny; including Cwmbran, Newport, Ebbw Vale, Tredegar, Monmouth, Crickhowell & Brecon.

You do not need a huge space for me to visit you at home. My massage couch measures 212cm x 65cm and so long as I have a bit of space to move around it (or one end if only having a treatment on legs or back/shoulders) then, that is fine. It is also not a problem for me if you have pets or family around.

I am fully insured and can provide a current DBS check.

Able to use workplace wellbeing or health policies to pay for your massage? No problem, I can provide full receipts for you.

I am qualified to Level 5 BCMB “Remedial and Sports Massage Diploma“. This qualification is accredited by the Massage Training Institute (MTI)

Level 5 is equivalent to the second year of a degree or a HND and provides an in-depth knowledge in how to manage a wide range of muscle and joint related problems.  This includes integrating a variety of assessment, treatment and rehabilitation skills.

I am also a member of the Sports Massage Association (SMA) – The Association for Soft Tissue Therapists, a professional body which requires its members to have a minimum level of qualification and to continue with personal and professional development (https://www.thesma.org/).
